Twin Cities Theater Camp is a 5-week intensive theater day camp for children ages 7-15 led by and showcasing some of the best performing arts talent in the Twin Cities. Kids get a chance to experience every area of theater through classes, culminating in a professional-level production of a full-length musical.

Our Staff

Twin Cities Theater Camp has highly skilled performing-arts professionals on staff with decades of combined experience teaching theater to children. 


The staff of CAMP! contains award winning actors and directors from the Twin Cities, including full staff members Ellen Fenster, John Catron, Kari Olk, and Kate Guentzel who bring their expertise and high expectations to the CAMP! stage through their teaching. CAMP! also frequently invites visiting teachers from around the metro.


Choreographer Kate Guentzel creates beautiful and energetic movement on the stage resulting in displays that both awe and inspire audiences.


Music director Tim Kraack works year round teaching voice and choir to students of all ages and is active in the local music community,

Technical theater and art

Artist Lisa Arnold tours the state and creates art installations professionally, and instructor John Catron teaches the art of prop making and trains students in the overlooked but important art of back-stage management.
